About the Founder (Evidently)

It began as a general interest in doing “something international.” This evolved into a 25+ year journey through the world of transfer pricing—a journey that has entailed 'visits to’ every OECD country (and many beyond), spanned industries from wafers to wines; from pharma to farms; from consumer websites to consumer insights—to name a handful—and played out across a wide variety of business environments.

Before founding Evident Solutions, Mark Hyde spent extended stints at three of the Big Four (e.g., Deloitte, PwC, and KPMG) with roles based in Atlanta, Silicon Valley, and Frankfurt. Along the way, he developed deep expertise in the IP lifecycle and IP-driven structures, cost-sharing and value chain planning, audit defense (including FIN48/SOX readiness), economic modeling and complex allocations, and the design and implementation of a wide range of intercompany arrangements. His time as a Director in Deloitte’s Frankfurt office provided invaluable perspective, imprinting a ‘non-US’ lens to global transfer pricing strategy and risk management.

After public accounting, Mark led the transfer pricing function at a US Fortune 500 company during a period shaped by COVID disruption and global supply chain realignment. He steered complex planning initiatives, aligned documentation with cross-functional priorities, managed hundreds of intercompany agreements, grappled with spiking employee mobility, and helped the business simplify and scale its approach to intercompany execution—all while seeking to balance precision and durability with pragmatism.

More recently, Mark served as Lead Economist at a TP SaaS startup, shaping strategy, platform design, and client service delivery for a documentation tool. There, he helped bridge technology with user needs, tailoring solutions to fit real-world workflows and guiding clients to not only replicate their documentation in a new medium—but to improve it and resolve overlooked pressure points.

Today, many companies are rethinking their TP service model. Traditional providers can feel impersonal, their advice recycled; Digital tools promise efficiency but integration challenges can make these gains elusive. Evident Solutions was launched to offer something different: highly personalized transfer pricing support that brings clarity to complexity, in an affordable way. The end goal is to help tax teams move with confidence, whether they’re documenting transactions, testing new policies, or making the case for operational change.

Through it all, what stands out is a steady commitment to clarity, integrity, and helping others succeed. Whether mentoring junior talent, navigating high-stakes audits, or untangling thorny cross-border structures, the approach is the same: ask curious questions, listen closely, solve collaboratively, and work to transform what may begin as a complex challenge, into an Evident Solution.
